The BBz Story
It started with a dent.
We love our YETI® gear. It keeps water cold in the Aussie heat and coffee hot on early mornings. But after dropping a brand-new bottle on concrete and watching it dent, we looked for a solution.
The problem? Everything on the market was cheap, mass-produced silicone. It was baggy, it attracted dust like a magnet, and it didn't actually offer much protection.
We knew we could do better.
Operating out of Ellenbrook, Western Australia, we fired up our Fusion 360 CAD software and our 3D printers. We didn't want soft rubber; we wanted armor.
We spent months testing different materials until we landed on TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). It’s an industrial-grade material that bridges the gap between hard plastic and rubber. It absorbs shock, it grips hard, and it doesn't stretch out over time.
From Hobby to BBz™ What started as a way to protect our own bottles (and keep our partner's gear from clanking on the treadmill) quickly turned into requests from friends, family, and locals who wanted the same level of protection.
Today, Bottle Bumperz (BBz) is still printed right here in WA. We aren't a massive factory; we are makers. We watch every layer go down to ensure your gear gets the protection it deserves.
No shortcuts. No silicone. Just tough, Australian-made protection.
Cheers, Reece & Bec
